WARSAW — An Attica woman, for the second time, pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender, along with other charges, during an appearance Monday in Wyoming County Court.

Katelyn C. Kubala, 33, waived indictment on charges of failure to register, offering a false instrument for filing and falsely reporting an incident.

She pleaded guilty to the first two counts and is to be sentenced Nov. 9.

The failure to register conviction is a felony punishable by up to seven years because Kubala has at least one previous conviction for failing to register.

Kubala is a Level 1, the lowest, on the state Sex Offender Registry. She had a sexual relationship with a teenage boy and was convicted of attempted rape in 2013, while she was serving a state prison term for burglary. The relationship happened before she was sent to prison.
